Curriculum recommendation

Several years ago I was looking for a writing curriculum to use with my sons.  I wanted something structured and specific.  A friend recommended Excellence in Writing.  It wasn't cheap but the skills my sons developed using this curriculum are solid and transferable to other subjects.  Both boys have since written a number of letters to the editor which were published in area newspapers.  One son has even been paid for an article he wrote for the paper.

We have continued to use Excellence in Writing for several years now.  I highly recommend this curriculum and was pleased to get an email with a link for a free workshop.  Here is a great chance to find out more for yourself.

Have  you attended the "Writing Without Tears" workshop?

One of the most popular workshops at Home School Conventions across Canada over the past 10 years has been the "Writing Without Tears" presentation given by Bev Rempel from Excellent Resources. If you, or someone you know is struggling with teaching writing to their children, this workshop is full of practical examples, proven experience and positive hope for you to put into practice immediately.

In anticipation of Bev's particpation as an exhibitor and workshop presenter at the Kitchener-Waterloo Conference and an exhibitor at OCHEC in Hamilton, we have created a recording of an online workshop Bev gave last year.

You are invited to view the online workshop absolutely FREE, just as you would have at a live conference. You will even receive the same handouts she distributes in person at the workshop.

Enjoy ~ Jen
