Mmmm...apple butter

Last week was reading this blog  Dewey's Treehouse: In apple butter time  and found myself inspired to make apple butter.  I carefully peeled and cut up all my apples, added the cinnamon etc.  I only used 2 cups of sugar in my batch.  Next time I will remember that the crockpot work much more efficiently when you press start. 

Eleven hours later this is what I had to show for very little effort:
