Here we are only the 5th day of September (Labour Day) and it is chilly enough for a jacket outside.
My cranberries are soon going to be ripe.
It is hard to believe that we are about to start our 13th year of homeschooling. I can remember when my oldest was just little and a friend spoke about homeschooling and I thought she must be crazy.....little did I know. In the early years some time was spent in school but medical challenges (severe latex allergies and joint dislocations) meant that a great deal of work was done at home. For the last 8 years the boys have been at home.
I admit that homeschooling high school was a daunting idea but I have gotten more comfortable as the years progress. The books ar bought, the binders are ready, the supplies are in order and the classroom table is covered with books and my notes.
It is time to gather up my clutter so that we have room to work tomorrow. Lesson plans and planning books are ready for the morning.
