I am most comfortable when I have a routine. With my sons having A.D.H.D. and A.D.D. structure and routine are key to survival. Unfortunately over the last months while I have been looking for work such things have been lacking. As I settle in to a new job that will be long term (unlike the short lived post as a crossing guard last month) I am looking forward to establishing a rhythm and routine for our weeks.
I plan to devote some time this weekend to doing some organizing in the classroom, leeson plans and reviewing completed work. I also have a civics quiz to get ready for Monday. The will have to be some changes in our school schedule as well that I need to sort out. Ken already has math lessons laid out for the week. I need to get the rest ready.
I would like to see if we can fit in a session in the therapy pool once a week too.
If I'm lucky I will have some time to putter in my craft room and make a few cards too.
How are you starting off the new year?
